James Domestic doesn't sleep

James Domestic is busy as always, with a poem in the new ‘Beats, Bums, Punks, and Scumbags’ collection published by Back Room Poetry, alongside the likes of Billy Childish, Adrian Manning, Martin Appleby, Charles Bukoswi, TS Idiot, and many more. You can grab a copy here: https://www.scumbagpress.co.uk/product/paper-and-ink-18?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAAR2wvq_1gycYzrNUSFJZkLRog2y-1H-vlRqHpFK3nzj_nOuvFulENK0Am-Y_aem_AQvqQrbXJo8OPIsPXpmuGHUOU1Qta1-p-CrlqQblvDnQFR9W79KheBGXy_WWiNjPv8Viqg6zdwY-YNxBjfY_26DX

Also, after a great interview on the Byte High No Limit podcast a few weeks ago, Domestic features in the new ‘Teletext 50: The History of the first 50 years’ audio documentary.  It’s a great documentary, and stuffed full of people that developed, and worked on, Ceefax/Teletext, along with some more unexpected figures such as Domestic himself, Count Binface (space politician), and Ricardo Autobahn from anarchic one-hit-wonders, The Cuban Boys (remember Cognoscenti vs. Intelligentsia AKA The Hamster Dance?). Have a listen here: https://www.podbean.com/media/share/pb-gerit-1637def?utm_campaign=au_share_ep&utm_medium=dlink&utm_source=au_share

If you missed his set at Manchester Punk Festival back in April, you can stop weeping now, as MPRV News have just added the full set to their YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=krczyBLviF4

If all this wasn’t enough, the finishing touches are just being made to Domesticated Volume 3, the latest (final?) instalment of the Domesticated series of books. With plaudits from luminaries such as Steve Ignorant, Mark Grist, Jerry A., Dick Lucas, Scott Coe, The Shend, Attila The Stockbroker, and more, you know this is going to be good!
