To celebrate the iconic album's fortieth anniversary this year our first publication for author and Clash aficionado Tim Satchwell will be an updated reprint of his debut book, 'Combat Ready', all about the inspiration behind and making of The Clash's classic album 'Combat Rock'.
Although initially self-published (Stay Free) in the tried and tested punk rock d.i.y manner it was in a very limited edition A4 format. The book will now be professionally printed as a perfect bound, royal size paperback, and available to readers very soon.
Since writing Combat Ready, back in 2016, Tim has written two more books about The Clash, 'All the Peacemakers', about Give ‘em Enough Rope in 2019 and 'Move up Starsky' about their first album, in 2021. He is currently working on his fourth Clash book and we intend to bring your them all.
