Alex Boucher On Phoenix 98FM Radio

Writer: Louise GamageLouise Gamage

Essex Musician, Alex Boucher, joined Jo Bailey on Drive to discuss his new memoir, “Three and a Half Minutes of Fame,” which provides an insightful snapshot of the 90’s Indie music scene. Alex reflects on his journey and perspective as someone who almost “made it,” performing on the same stages as iconic bands such as The Pogues, Kingmaker, Suede and Blur.

His Book includes a detailed list of venues and bands, some of which rose to fame, while others remained in obscurity. Boucher’s reflections extend to TV programs that have long been forgotten, adding a 90’s nostalgic layer to the memoirs.
