Ian is currently working on a follow up volume to 'A Country Fit for Heroes : DIY punk in eighties Britain', which primarily collected the stories of over 140 UK punk bands from the eighties who only released EPs and demos, or only appeared on compilation LPs. It's a celebration of the obscure and a love letter to the UK’s punk underground, and the second volume looks set to bring even more lesser known punk bands back into the light of day. Keep an eye on Ian's facebook page where he occasionally posts about it asking for any one who has contacts for certain bands.
There was also a recent review of 'A Country Fit For Heroes' by the French Radio Liberty with an excellent playlist of twenty of the bands featured.
