A book fit for punkers

More copies of Ian Glasper’s most recent book, ‘A Country Fit For Heroes’ have been flying out over the last weeks. Quite a few for punkers Christmas presents, as we see in the photo below - Andy Cairns must have been a really naughty boy last year because all he got for Xmas was this stupid book...

Ian has been busy making music with Zero Again but is still finding time to chip away at Volume Two of 'A Country Fit for Heroes' in the background. He’s now written over a dozen chapters (4Q, AWOL, Constant State, Convulsions, Dog Solder, I'm Dead, Out of Order, The Parasites/Paradox UK, The Seize, Seizures, Septicaemia, Three Minute Warning/Four Minds Crack) and is past the 25,000 word mark.

He still has a long way to go and is looking for leads on many more bands, including...

A Few Tears, Animal Farm, The Drill, Obsessed, Social Outrage, Black Over Red and Verbal Mockery.

You can pick up your own copy of 'A Country Fit For Heroes’ here.

And you can still grab a copy of Ian’s Subhumans book, ‘Silence is no reaction’ here.

On that note, thanks to Alan Rohan for quizzing Ian Glasper about his Subhumans book for Hell Magazine.

The interview is in Czech at the top but in English underneath and you can read it here:
