Hans Verbeke
Hans Verbeke is a punk, hardcore, and metal fanatic. He grew up in Kortrijk, West Flanders, soaking in the vibes of the 70s and 80s sub- cultures. Hans played in epic bands like Nations on Fire, Blindfold, and LIAR. After dropping ‘The Story of H8000 Hardcore’ in 2019, ‘Heavy Sounds In The West’ is the second musical reference work he is involved in. Hans lives in Kortrijk with his wife Hilde and their two dogs and two cats.
Onno Hesselink
Onno Hesselink is a punk/hard- core scene vet and graphic design- er who rocked the 80s with his fan- zine ‘Peace or Annihilation’. His love for tunes started early when he got The Osmonds’ ‘Crazy Horses’ single for his seventh birthday, and he’s been hooked ever since. Onno’s whipped up over 300 re- cord covers for big labels like Good Life Recordings and Lowlands. Fresh out of school, he even did the cover for Cyclone’s second LP ‘Inferior to None’. Originally from Zandvoort, Netherlands, he’s kick- in’ it now in Tervuren, Belgium.
